The Project
I developed creative assets for the webinar Spring 2025 Housing Market: Overcoming Obstacles & Closing More Deals. The goal of the webinar was to unveil a new product called KCM Playbooks, a tool for agents to schedule educational ready-made real estate content. The visual concept positioned the webinar as a “playbook” for real estate agents, blending strategic, playbook-inspired graphic elements with KCM’s established branding to create a sense of expertise and actionable guidance.

While earlier campaigns had relied heavily on generic stock imagery of houses, I shifted the design to focus on the speaker, a well-known, trusted voice in the real estate industry. By making the creative more person-centered, we aimed to reflect the authority and relatability that agents already associate with him. Once this concept was approved, I designed the in-app video thumbnail, landing page hero image, social media feed graphic, and promotional reels, ensuring a cohesive look across all platforms. I then handed off the concept and key assets to junior designers to expand into a full suite of display ads, providing feedback and final approvals to maintain quality and consistency.

The Results
The campaign contributed to a record-breaking number of webinar attendees (2,000+), demonstrating how a clear, strategic visual approach can engage the audience and build anticipation. Shifting the focus from abstract imagery to the trusted speaker helped boost visibility and connection, while the visual playbook concept reinforced the webinar’s theme and strengthened KCM’s position as a go-to resource for real estate professionals.

Prior Struggles

The creative strategy for promoting the 2024 Spring Webinar underperformed, and several factors likely contributed to its limited impact. Below are key areas where the design fell short and why an updated approach was needed:

1. Underutilization of the Speaker's Credibility
The design places more visual emphasis on a generic stock photo of a house than on the trusted and well-known speaker, David Childers. His image is small and secondary, missing an opportunity to highlight a key draw for the target audience.

2. Lack of a Compelling Title or Hook
The title, “2024 Spring Webinar,” is vague and doesn’t clearly communicate the value or urgency of the content. A stronger, benefit-driven headline could have better conveyed why attending was worthwhile.

3. Inconsistent Brand Presentation
The use of a green color palette departs from Keeping Current Matters’ (KCM) recognizable brand identity, which typically features blue. This shift likely weakened brand recognition and made the promotion feel less cohesive.
